November: Understanding the Investment Climate for Games

Couldn’t get enough of the Yeti, Zen, and fill of knowledge? Itching for more? Come join us on November 27th for another night of learning, networking, and fun!

Our previous San Francisco Game Developer’s Workshop was an huge success! We had people asking when we’ll be bringing in more rock stars to talk. In response to popular demand, instead of having a mixer for November as originally planned we decided to have a panel discussion with well known investors to talk about the investment climate for games!

You have all heard the rumors we have-investors are not investing in gaming businesses. Game franchise based plays are a hits based business and super risky for traditional investors. This begs the question what makes game investments less risky? A game factory approach? A hybrid between a franchise and a game factory? Being first on new platforms? What are the new platforms? What are the options? Does Kickstarter really work for games without a big designer brand behind campaigns? To hear perspectives on all this and more come to our San Francisco Game Developer’s Workshop on Nov 27th.

As always, we will be providing FREE DRINKS, cool music, and some awesome networking time! However, space is limited! Hurry and reserve your ticket FAST before it is sold out!

Evening Schedule:
6:00pm - 7:30pm ———— Check-in, Network, Drinks, & Rocking with Music!
7:30pm - 9:00pm ———— Investment Panel Discussion
9:00pm ———————— Closing / End
