Is There a Midcore Market for Women?

In the last two years there has been increasing industry amount of focus on the midcore market, spurred by hits like Funzio’s Modern War and Supercell’s Clash of Clans. Midcore is a name associated almost entirely with a male audience. Everyone from indies up to heavyweights like Zynga are jumping. Yet is there an opportunity for deeper games with more strategic elements targeted towards women? Where do the lines blur?

Join us on Monday, August 5th at 6pm as we invite Simon Newstead, CEO of Frenzoo and creator of Me Girl™ to tackle this question, and in doing so share some case studies, talk about the differences between female and male players, and where the opportunities could lie.

Agenda:

6:00PM - 7:00PM ————————— Check-in / Networking

7:00PM - 8:30PM ————————— Simon Newstead

8:30PM - 9:00PM ————————— Networking / Ending
