YetiZen™

Leveling up the gaming industry…

Workshop: Mike Ayer

August 23, 2011

Interactive media & emerging models expert Mike Ayer dropped by YetiZen to discuss how to choose a starting point for creating a business strategy. Mike talked about his personal experience with a variety of different companies all the way from the MTV games group to companies like Greystripe whom he helped through its start-up stage. Some jewels from Mike’s talk included how to use assumption servicing and decision trees to expose flaws in your strategy before they become critical issues and how to apply process to substantiate assumptions with research. He explained that once you’ve uncovered what your assumptions are, you can critically evaluate how to proceed. Our companies got several ideas and were rearing to go at the end of the session.
