Every month YetiZen hosts four types of events focusing on educating developers on how to succeed in building social mobile game businesses.
The SF Game Developer’s Workshop is our oldest running event. This bimonthly event focuses on helping game developers achieve success in the business of making social & mobile games. It does this by featuring those speakers like Gerard Cunningham, YuChiang Cheng, Sash McKinnon and others who have achieved massive success in games come speak about what worked for them.
Every month after our popular San Francisco Game Developer’s Workshop, YetiZen hosts a forum where everybody submits topics to rant and debate about. The topic with the most votes will be selected to become the focus for the following month’s Entrepreneur Unplugged! The Entrepreneurs Unplugged event is a perfect place to learn about the latest trends in gaming, identify issues and finding solutions current to the industry, and debate about the next big thing!
Two Mondays every month YetiZen hosts:
- Road to Success – panel or short speaker talks focusing on issues and ideas related to game production. Previous speakers for Road to Success include Luke Lam (VP Business Development at PlayJam), Bill Rehbock (Developer Relations at Nvidia), Andrew Burgert (GM of Mobile at Globant) and many others.
- State of the Industry – The gamescape is an ever-morphing environment with new technology and techniques arising all the time. At the State of Industry events speakers take a deep dive in aggregated industry data to give us insight into best practices, the current state of the industry and predictions for the future. Previous speakers have included Atul Bagga (VP of Zynga) and AJ Yeakel (Co-founder, President, and COO of Grow Mobile).
